well, it finally happened, my first business trip!!
so, with a new camera, and a 2GB (yes, two gig!) memory card, i took lots of pictures while livin' it up in boston and in case you are wondering, 'craig' is just some guy i picked up while on the plane to act as my tour guide - i like to refer to him as 'co-worker' most of the time though
aerial shots - plane ride out to boston
first night there, had to check out a highly recommended seafood joint, 'the barking crab'
new this year, a tour up the charles river with cambridge on one side, boston on the other. **note - i realize not all of the pictures in this show are "of the river", but there was other 'scenery' to be seen that happened to be on the boat with us the whole tour...not my fault, i didn't pass the tickets out
the famous 'freedom trail' - "follow the red brick line"
long wharf - where all the action is between land and sea
while visiting over in connecticut, a small ship building port (former) - notice the name of one of the sailing ships, you might recognize the name
ahhh...a romantic sunset tour with the salt air filling your nostrils...can't you just feel the love?
this section is the military side of me; no, i never served, but i've just been marveled by the technological advances made during the second world war, and as such, these pictures reflect my interest.
